Vinyasa Yoga Classes in Paisley

At our welcoming yoga studio in the heart of Paisley, you can enjoy Vinyasa yoga classes that are suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience, our studio offers a friendly, supportive environment to begin or deepen your practice.
Vinyasa yoga is a flowing style of yoga that connects movement with breath, helping you to build strength, balance, and focus while also finding relaxation.

Throughout the class, we demonstrate each posture (asana)and use clear dialogue to provide you with:
-
an indication of the alignment required for each posture
-
possible options and variations you may wish to consider, making the class accessible for all levels, especially beginners.
-

As you settle into each posture, I will guide you back to your breath and direct you to your point of gaze or focus (Drishti).

Breathwork and Warm Up
Every Vinyasa yoga class begins with a guided breathing exercise. This is an opportunity to allow the mind and body to connect in the same place at the same time. We use ujjayi breathing, a unique technique performed by inhaling and exhaling through the nose to create a gentle “ocean” sound in the back of the throat. This calming breath is encouraged throughout your practice and helps you to stay centred.
We then move through a gentle warm up with stretches for the larger muscle groups and mobility work for the major joints, preparing your body for the yoga postures (asanas) to come.

Flowing Sequences and Postures
From there, we begin our first Vinyasa flow, a sequence of 5–6 postures designed to move smoothly together. These sequences gently raise your heart rate and generate heat in the body, helping you to ease more deeply into postures if you wish. In standing sequences, we focus on one side of the body before moving to the other, bringing balance to your practice.
After standing postures, we transition to the mat for seated and lying-down postures, which allow the body to stretch, release, and restore.

Relaxation and Meditation
Every Vinyasa yoga class ends with savasana (final relaxation) or a guided meditation for complete rest and release. This closing moment allows you to absorb the benefits of your practice and leave feeling calm, refreshed, and rebalanced.

Whether you are completely new to yoga or already have some experience, our classes in the heart of Paisley are supportive, welcoming, and designed to help you connect body, breath, and mind.
